Taxi drivers protest lack of control

Organized pirate transportation services affecting taxi drivers
Panama Star The Panama Transit Authority says they are conducting operations to bring an end to the illegal practice, however, taxi drivers of Arraijan are not convinced.
A formal complaint presented to the Director of Transit Authority, by demonstrators indicated, that even police officers are driving these “pirate taxis”.
They claim that the operatives, are not sanctioned and get off scot free.
A traffic jam was the result of this protest
