Panama Star DEARBORN, MICH. Police said at least two people were killed in what they believe was a murder-suicide at a community college in Dearborn, Michigan.
Deputy Police Chief Gregg Brighton says a shotgun was used in the killings at Henry Ford Community College. The campus was temporarily locked down in the early afternoon Friday shortly after a 911 call came in.
Twelve-year-old Christian Plonka says he was in the college's MacKenzie Fine Arts Center when he heard a gunshot.
He and others participating in a theater program ran to the adjacent University of Michigan-Dearborn campus until police gave the all-clear.
Dearborn police and the campus security said they were dealing with an emergency and were unable to provide more information.
