Venus denies that the tournament is becoming too easy for them

Panama Star WIMBLEDON. Venus and Serena Williams, who will contest the Wimbledon singles final for a fourth time today, reached the final of the women's doubles for a second successive year on Friday.

The three-time defending champions defeated top seeds Cara Black of Zimbabwe and America's Liezel Hueber 6-1, 6-2.

They will face Australian pair Samantha Stosur and Rennae Stubbs, the third seeds, who defeated Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues and Virginia Ruano Pascual 6-7 (3/7), 6-4, 6-2, in Sunday's final.

Venus denied that the tournament was becoming too easy for them.

"Serena had a very tough competitor yesterday (a three-set semi-final win over Elena Dementieva where she saved a match point). I've had to stay on my A game to defeat each competitor," said the five-time singles champion.

"And, of course, in the doubles together we've been so focused, and that's really been the key word.
