Panama Star PANAMA. Former president Guillermo Endara was discharged from the the San Fernando Clinic yesterday after being hospitalized since June 27.
The medical team considers his recovery as satisfactory and he will return home under strict rest, according to a recent press release.
Endara thanks all Panamanians for their concern and the prayers offered for his health.
He is grateful for the phone calls and visits of friends, family and fellow politicians and President Ricardo Martinelli.
He will remain at his residence under the care of his wife Ana Mae Diaz de Endara.
The former president was checked into the hospital due to a kidney complication and the diabetes he has been suffering from for several years.
