Panama Star PANAMA. After a bloody weekenda nd an impatient public, Panamanian authorities are coming down hard on “diablo rojo” drivers.
The Mayor's office has announced that citizens who denounce bad drivers - with proof - will receive $25. Mayor Bosco Vallarino said he doesn't know yet where the funds will come from but the measure is needed to put some restraint on the irresponsible behavior of some bus drivers. The users that report bad drivers must provide hard proof that a transit infraction has been committed.
