PANAMA. The director of the Air and Naval Service (SENAN), Rigoberto Gordon has been accused of nepotism after he managed to secure a scholarship for his son to study in the Brazil Air Force Academy, without complying with the internal regulations of the institution.
A source said to La Estrella that Gordon used his influence so his son could enter the list of candidates, without passing for the selection procedure.
The story was confirmed by doctor Carlos Nieto, an specialist in aeronautical medicine because he would not have pass the physical and psychological test.
Nieto was fired by the SENAN director.
