PANAMA. The American Society of Panama invites you to its annual Dry Season “Garden Party Picnic” on Saturday January 31 at the Residence Grounds of the United States Ambassador in La Cresta.

The picnic will be held from 11 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please note that this new location and date cancels the January 24th picnic planned at the Balboa Yacht Club.

The annual picnic serves the as a membership appreciation event and a new membership drive. The event is in honor of members of the American Society of Panama, as a token of appreciation for contributions to the society during the year.

The picnic’s menu will have an array of tasty favorites including hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob, and coleslaw finished off with an all-American apple pie and an American Flag cake. For refreshments, there will be soda water and margaritas.

Shorty & Slim, will provide live entertainment and of course, the company of other American Society members and new recruits.

Tickets for the picnic are $10 for dues paid members (children 17 and younger are free) and $15 for non-dues paid members ($10 for children).

Tickets for non-members are $25, and $10 for dependants 14 or younger.

As the Society is unable to collect funds on the premises, organizers are not going to be able to sell tickets there. Those interested should contact any of the board members, or american.Society.Panama@gmail.com for a list of contacts before January 28, and must submit their passport number or cedula.

Renewal Dues and New Membership Fees should also be paid in advance. No exceptions will be allowed.
