PANAMA. Family members of the Panamanians who died on the tragic accident of the San-100 helicopter on May 29, 2008 are still waiting to learn the real cause behind the fatal crash that ended their loved one’s life.

It seems the government has not met with them and is still to hand them a copy of the investigation’s final report, released late last week.

Luis Celis, husband of the deceased Police commissioner, Maria de Celis, said he is well aware no amount of money will make his wife come back, and says his main concern is not an indemnity but to know “what were the causes of the accident.”

Meanwhile, family members of deputy commissioner Gerardo Polanco in Veraguas are waiting for the government to call on a meeting.
