PANAMA. The President elected of the Republic, Ricardo Martinelli has announced the names of his new cabinet.
Demetrio Papadimitriu, who was campaign chief of Martinelli, will become the Minister of the Presidency.
The elected vice-president, Juan Carlo Varela will occupy the post of Foreign Ministry.
While the controversial Ministry of Government and Justice will go to Jose Raul Mulino, a lawyer who has served in the past as deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and who is an honorary member of the Panamanian Association of Enterprise Executives. Martinelli has not yet appointed yet the next Minister of Education, but the name of the journalist Lucy Molinar has been mentioned as a possible choice.
