PANAMA. Many cable TV clients woke up last week to discover their programming had changed overnight.

According to Manuel Garcia, a Cable Onda executive, the changes were made because the company wants to enrich the variety of channels without increasing prices.

Some channels have changed position, some have been taken out and some new channels have been added, including some channels in the digital system, like SPACE; movies and series (also available in the analog system), BBCE; entertainment and lifestyle, ANMAX; animated science fiction movies and series, and ISAT; contemporary movies and series.

Most of the Cable Onda customers who are affected by the changes live in the metropolitan area.
