After analyzing the statistics of cases to be processed, Mitchell found out that many of them have not been resolved due to lack of effort from some judges.
According to the Judicial Code, judges should process cases efficiently and expeditiously and that has not been happened for a long time and as a consequence hundreds of people are in jail awaiting for their day in court.
Mitchell wants the judicial process to become more agile and asked judges to redouble their efforts to put an end to the backlog of cases.
