The thieves arrived in a white vehicle, with patterns similar to that of an official police car. They were heavily armed and were able to steal 2 bags of money.
The police gave chase, resulting in a shoot out, and one officer was injured by gunfire from the robbers.
Three of the suspects were arrested, and one, Omar Cordoba, was reported to be injured.
One of the detainees, was already wanted by police, for attempted armed robbery of a store, called Vakko.
Officials say some of the money has been recovered. Among things confiscated were, 2 bullet proof jackets, high caliber weapons, and a grey sedan.
Francisco Troya, director of the National Police , says that the assailants, cloned one of their police cars, to commit the crime.
