Traffic on some roads in the banking zone will change directions aiming to unblock the daily log jams, reduce delays and stop accidents.
In the crossing with Calle 50, a left hand turn will be allowed from Aquilino De la Guardia to Calle 50 regulated by a light, maintaining only the turn towards Calle 50 for those coming from Balboa Avenue. The lanes of the Elvira Mendez road will also change direction, now going only from Calle 50 to Via España.
Finally Beatriz M. Cabal street, will change its direction so that the lanes go from Calle San Lucas to Calle 50.
In Manuel Maria Icaza street the cars will now travel from Calle 50 towards San Lucas street.
It is expected that the changes will reduce travelling time.
