The medical professionals have been trying to close the streets for the last two week but the anti-riots units stopped them and removed them from the principal avenues by force.
The government has said that it will pay those professionals and technicians who did not join the strike, once they bring proof that they were at work for the last two weeks. A meeting between the union and the Minister of Health, Rosario Turner, is programmed for today at 10:00 a.m. as a last effort to resolve the pay rise problem that has paralyzed the system.
