PANAMA.The new Omar Torrijos stadium, in the city of Santiago opened its doors last night, to inaugurate the 66th National Major Baseball League tournament. The modern baseball coliseum, a $5 million investment, was chosen for the first game between Los Santos, national champions, and Veraguas, 2008 subchampions. Since it was the first game held in the stadium, tickets were free.
