Panama is the world's happiest country, according to a survey

The researchers established that 61 % of Panamanians are happy

Gallup and Healthways did more than 133,000 surveys in 135 countries around the globe, where they measured well-being or prosperity according to five main elements: financial stability, relationships, security within the community, physical well-being and sense of purpose; this last item is seen as the ability to make a contribution to society.

The researchers established that 61 % of Panamanians are happy and fulfill four of the above mentioned elements: relationships (68%), security within the community (58%), physical well-being (63%) and sense of purpose (66%).
