On September 3, many friends and acquaintances including British Ambassador to Panama, Richard Austen, had gathered at the hospital to celebrate his 63rd birthday.
He is survived by his wife: Jackie and sons Elliott, and Patrick, Siter Johanna and paretnts Captain and Mrs John Carlson. A memorial service will be held tomorrow, Tuesday September 23, and Balboa United Church at 4.30 p.m.
