PANAMA. The moment all major news broadcasting networks projected a landslide win for democratic presidential nominee Brack Obama, now president elect, was so powerful, that many around the world could not help but shed out tears of joy.

The scene looked like out of a Hollywood studio, as TV network cameras showed the elation felt from churches in Southern states to Times Square to the windy city, which was miraculously rather warm for a Fall Chicago night. All that was missing was a soundtrack-- instruments to reflect the hope that Obama’s acceptance speech inspired on Americans and foreigners alike.

Well, we need not wait any longer. While Governor Palin was winning the support of hunters, Obama was inspiring recording artists, many who contributed to a music album released last month on Obama’s website, called: “Yes We Can, Voices of a grassroots movement.”

It was being sold exclusively on the campaign’s website, and it will be released on U.S. stores on November 11. Now you can also listen to it through Yahoo! Music, offering in a partnership with Barack Obama’s official site, inspirational and upbeat tunes from artists such as Sheryl Crow, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, and many more.

Through their musical contributions, the artists sought to mobilize voters in the final stretch before the November election. Many of the artists involved also volunteered their time to promote voter registration.
