PANAMA. I enjoyed the Our Man in Panama story (May 27) about e-mail scams.

I too get a lot of these e-mails, especially from bank employees claiming no heirs exist for a deceased's $Millions.

What bothers me (as it should everyone) is that this bank employee is asking me to commit fraud by falsely claiming I am a legal heir (with his help) and helping him to embezzle the $Millions and then to help him launder the money through my bank account.

Without even getting to the position of being asked for a handling fee (which is what he really wants to run off with) he is asking me to commit at least two felony (major) crimes.

Only criminal minded people would reply to those offers!

Keep up the good work.
