PANAMA. The water supply will be interrupted in certain areas of Panama City on Saturday, June 6 due to the installation of a new pipeline that will connect the 10 million gallon storage tank of Tinajitas with the rest of the system.
The areas affected with low pressure will be Ricardo J. Alfaro Way, Transístmica, Betania, Vía España, José Agustín Arango Way, Chanis and El Romeral, while Cerro Viento, San Antonio, La Siesta, Tocumen, Mañanitas, Pedregal and Praderas de San Antonio, and part of the San Miguelito district will not have any water at all.
The works will start at 8:00 a.m. and will finish at 8:00 p.m.
It is expected that the works will improve the water supply in the capital city.
