PANAMA. The government is demanding that Group F (Figali) pay $2 million of the pending debt they owe for the concession of Amador lots and quit the lawsuits they have against the State to reach a formal agreement about land devolution. Jose Gabriel Carrillo, legal representative of Group F insisted today they are willing to take back the lawsuits, however he said the company has never refused to pay and that a legal act from the Court suspended the payment obligation and collection rights. “Our company has always respected the law and if we have not paid it because a ruling said so, We have always acted within the law. If the other companies didn't pay out of whims, that was them” said Carrillo to a local radio station. Jean Figali is no longer the president of Group F.
