The airport which serves David and the main road connecting David to Boquete are unaffected and all the main road and the downtown were untouched.

Restaurants and hotels are open for business and the outdoor activities such as hiking, rafting and rock climbing to name a few are still available.

Charlie Collins, owner and executive chef of Panamonte Inn and Spa said: “Of course, it has been a difficult week for the people of Boquete and our hearts go out to the families affected, but the things that have made this place famous are unaffected.” The community rallied together to aid the flood victims and life slowly is going back to normal after the natural disaster.
