PANAMA. The Revolutionary Democratic Party presidential candidate, Balbina Herrera and her supporter will close the roads around Justo Arosemena Avenue today in their final rally, before the May 3 general elections.
The Justo Arosemena Avenue and all the roads between 26 and 34 streets will be closed from noon until around 8:00 p.m.
The roads between 25 and 26 streets which are near the Republic of Venezuela school were closed from 2:00 p.m. yesterday, which is the place where the main scenario for the closing of the campaign is located.
The buses of the Justo Arosemena Avenue route will continue to travel towards the city center thorough España Central avenue, but they will return using 24 Street towards Balboa Avenue to be reincorporated into Balboa Avenue.
The National Police are recommending drivers to avoid those roads if they are not going to the event.
