Big productions programmed for the second semester generating a thousand jobs in areas specializing in film

Around $24 million in direct foreign investment have been registered during the first semester, coming from cinematography productions which are taking place on Panamanian ground during 2015, according to General Direction of Movies (DiCine) from the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI).


DiCine has approved and carried out 39 productions during the first semester of 2015, which have generated 310 direct jobs during filming.

The United States, England and France lead the list of countries with production houses who pick Panamanian locations for their film projects.
