Panama. Those who have tried any of Chef Francesco’s succulent Italian dishes at his Saltimbocca Resataurant and have wondered what goes into them need wonder no longer.

Chef Francesco is starting his Sixth Original and Home-Cooked Italian Cuisine Course today, Saturday August 30 at the restaurant. The course will last four Saturdays from 1:30p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost of participationis is $100.

Chef Francisco has divided the course in the following way.

Today, participants will be learning to make hot appetizers with vegetables, basic tomato sauces, a Bolognese sauce, and classic pastas like the Emiliana Lasagna. They will be able to taste the appetizers and the lasagnas at the end of the class.

Next Saturday, the class will focus on cold appetizers, on pastas with fillings (raviolis) and how to properly preserve food. Participants will finish off the day with bruschetas and ravioli.

The third class will be focused on hot entrees again, and participants will learn how to make various types of croquettes, as well as meat entrees. Chef Francesco will share nutritional information, and at the end of the day everyone will get to taste the meet croquets and similar dishes.

During the last course, once the participants have had some practice, Chef Francesco will teach the class about seafood appetizers, fish entrees and side dishes, and how to properly preserve seafood. The class will enjoy Clams a la Marinera and Seafood Lasagna after its arduous work.
