The Panameñista legislator, Jose Isabel Blandon made a proposal to the assembly requesting the discussion of them and introduced a draft to that effect.
Blandon said that he wanted the decree laws to be discussed as soon as possible, because they are very important for the Panamanian citizens.
Last Thursday the legislator Wigberto Quintero introduced another bill that requests that the abolition of the five security decree laws.
According to information given by the General Secretariat of the National Assembly, Quintero’s bill was received and passed to the Constitutional Affairs, Government and Justice Commission.
