The president of the organization, Juan Ramon Varela said that a world in financial crisis supported the fair and chose Panama as a good place to do business.
According to the Chamber of Commerce the preliminary figures revealed that at least $100 million in transactions took place during the fair.
The commercial fair was visited by 20,000 people an increase of seven percent in over last year.
The organizers said that additionally out of country attendees to the event spent approximately $28 million in accommodation, transport, food, shopping and other activities.
The next fair will take place on March 3, 2010.
