The price of 91 octane fuel will drop 13 cents, to $2.79; 95 octane gas will see a price decline of 15 cents, and will be $2.95 at the pumps.

Meanwhile, diesel prices will not vary as much. Regular diesel will be 2 cents cheaper, with a base price of $2.37. Maximum diesel will remain at the same price: $2.45.

The higher prices registered in Panama during the last eight weeks were basically a response to hoarding maneuvers by suppliers and distributors, which, according to analysts, reached their limit last week.
