The third round of negotiations is due to take place from January 12 to January 16.
The Panamanian Foreign Commerce Deputy Minister, Severo Sousa announced the formation of a commercial mission that will allow national exporters to take advantage of the Canadian market.
Representatives of the agricultural, industrial, services, fishing and export sectors as well as lawyers, biologists, economists and agronomists took part in the meeting to define the proposals that will be presented.
The Canadian market will offer a new alternative to national producers that currently are seeing their traditional markets in the United States and Europe shrinking due to the global economic crisis that has diminished a great deal the purchasing power of consumers in those countries.
