PANAMA. After a Panama Star story about James Alexander McQuirter, the twice jailed former KKK Grand Wizard, the ex-president of Emerald Passport in Panama, Jaime Figueroa said that his position in the company was ceremonial and that he was never involved in its day to day operations.
Emerald was the employer of the former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard James Alexander McQuirter who was giving seminars for the pyramid like business opportunity program.
Figueroa said in an e-mail that he never told the editor of the blog Bananama Republic that Emerald would not associate with McQuirter in the future now that it had information about his KKK involvement.
Figueroa said that he resigned as president of Emerald Passport in disgust when presented with the evidence of McQuirter’s background and said that he has nothing to do with him. Locally McQuirter called himself James Alexander.
