Panama and United Arab Emirates will launch investment projects

The two countries will cooperate in several political, economical, commercial, cultural and touristic programs

Last Thursday was launched a cooperation committee subscribed by vice president and chancellor Isabel de Saint Malo and sheik Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, United Arab Emirates Foreign Affairs minister.

The committee will promote and coordinate political, economical, commercial, cultural and touristic programs, among others.

The Panamanian chancellor said that the committee is the juridic base for the investment projects and other initiatives.

“The agreements will look for the participation of the Emirate companies in tenders for the five year investment plan of this government, most of all in energy and shipping”, said de Saint Malo.

The chancellor confirmed that in 2017 will be open the Emirates embassy in Panamanian and the current Panamanian consul in Dubai will be appoint as ambassador.

There are enormous coincidences between Panama and United Arab Emirates, especially as peaceful countries searching the stability of their regions.

At march 31, direct flies from Panama to Dubai will begin. This will bring economical, commercial and cultural opportunities between both countries.
