“We need to strengthen the Panameñista movement and in perhaps three months times he will do better in the surveys,” said Moscoso.

The former president recognized that the presidential candidate of the Democratic Change Party, Ricardo Martinelli is doing very well and Varela should speak with his advisors to change strategies.

Moscoso did not openly criticized Varela, but urged him to submit to a reality check if the Panameñista Party is to have any chance of winning the May general elections.
