Panama. A raging blaze destroyed a wooden building leaving 84 families without a home, just two weeks before Christmas. There were no fatalities, but five individuals were affected by smoke inhalation. The incident occurred at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, when the flames devoured the building known as “El Relleno” in a matter of minutes. Gas cylinders made matters worse for the fire brigade which managed to keep the fire from affecting other structures.
