ROME. Inter Milan built on their positive start in Europe by storming to the top of the Serie A table for the first time this season with a 3-1 victory at Torino. An own goal by Marco Pisano, and one goal apiece from Brazilian fullback Maicon and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, four days after a 2-0 Champions League win over Panathinaikos, provided further proof the marriage between Inter and new coach Jose Mourinho is gelling nicely. And the top of the tree is taking on a familiar look with Juventus moving up to second after their 1-0 success at rock bottom Cagliari. Inter were at their dominant best in Turin and there were clear signs that Jose Mourinho's magic has already started to take effect, as it did in his previous jobs in FC Porto and Chelsea FC.
