Information about a plan to kidnap one of the sons of Panamanian President Varela was found on social networks.
Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela denied today the alleged plans to kidnap his son."It was a false alarm. We received prank calls from a prison", affirmed the Head of State.
Information about a raid that the Public Ministry ordered at La Joya, a prison located on the outskirts of Panama City, was all over the internet, specially on social networks.
Varela confirmed that there's no information that points out about a possible kidnapping, but he stated that he'll increase the security measures regarding his family members.
