Everything went according to plan until the year 2000, when he had a cleaning contract with the National Bank.

The then general manager Bolivar Pariente decided to cancel Marohl’s contract and leave it to a bidding process, which Marhol again won.

Marohl sued for breach of contract and won, but Pariente contra sued him for libel and slander on behalf of the National Bank. That move almost cost the American his livelihood when rs decided to cancel his credit.

After years of battle he managed to clear his name and now is suing the Panamanian government for damages. Read the full story on Thursday.
