Martinelli sues ex deputy Chevalier for alleged bribe

Once more from the United States, the former president Ricardo Martinelli defends himself using Twitter as his communication platform. In this occasion, he pointed out that he’s suing the ex deputy Lizette Chevalier for bribery and allegedly asking him for $5 million.

Through the social medium, the previous mandatory said, “we are suing the ex deputy Chevalier for coercion of witnesses and other cases in the PAN. Also for asking me for $5 million in the US.”

Martinelli says that the ex deputy Chevalier travelled to the United States and met with him twice, telling him she was being told to do everything against him.

The lawyer Alejandro Pérez, part of Martinelli’s legal team, filed a criminal complaint yesterday to the Deputy Prosecutor against the second ex deputy Lizette Chevalier, for the alleged crime against the administration of justice and the public administration.

The process being conducted by the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) against the former president of the Republic, Ricardo Martinelli, for the dehydrated meals, was suspended yesterday by the plenary of this organ of the State, Oydén Ortega.

Martinelli reacted by saying that the Court hasn’t found any evidence against him, in the case of PAN and they haven’t closed him, so that’s why they invent legal limbo.

The former president Ricardo Martinelli left Panama on January 28, 2015 and hasn’t returned.
