During the interview Delgado Diamante gave a detailed account of the events that resulted in the death of Garcia, saying that he was following procedure in what he called “police reaction”, in which he could have lost his life. He added that he acted in defense of Garcia’s wife and mother in law.
“It was strictly a police procedure and all the rules were followed,” said Delgado.
