Wang played selections from “Eight memories in watercolor” by Tan Dun and a paraphrase by Liszt of Saint Saens’ “Danza Macabra Op.40.” The organizers’ were impressed with all of the performances, stating that “the level (of quality) of this competition has been particularly high, because of candidates with an immense professional preparation.”
