Kashmir bridge collapses

SRINAGAR, India. A bridge under construction over an icy Himalayan river in Indian-controlled Kashmir collapsed Sunday, killing four workers and leaving 19 others missing and feared dead, police said. Rescuers were searching the banks of the river for more bodies or survivors, said B. Srinivas, a senior police official. The bridge is near the de facto border that separates India and Pakistan.
