The most recent addition in the list of anti-socials is James Alexander McQuirter, a Canadian who sent to jail for two years for trying to overthrown the Dominica government to create a white supremacy nation in 1981.

He was the Grand Wizard of the Canadian Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in the 80’s and was sentenced to five years for conspiracy to commit murder.

Until recently according to the blog Bananama Republic, McQuirter has been involved with the American company Emerald Passport, giving seminars to expats anxious to increase their income in a “low risk financial venture.” The high cost presentations were made in luxury hotels and resorts.

The editor of Bananama Republic, Okke Ornstein got in contact with the president of Emerald Passport in Panama, Jaime Figueroa, who said that he was unaware of McQuirter’s background, but now that he had the information his company would not associate with him in the future.

Ornstein in his article also question the credibility of Emerald Passport when he said: “It is a so-called "multi-level marketing" scheme, which sells courses and other "educational" material on the secrets of assembling unlimited wealth; the kind of secrets, or so we read, they don't teach you in school. Once you bought these secrets you are supposed to resell them and make a commission as you build what in the jargon is called your `downline`.”

They modestly call themselves "one of the most profitable income opportunities in the world today."

Emerald Passport appears to be company a based on the pyramid principle, but nothing has been proven yet.

A recent communication from Emerald Passport representative, Christian M. Desharnais said that McQuirter, better known as James Alexander is not longer with the company and was only a guest speaker at the seminars.

The Public Ministry has not said if it is investigating McQuirter or Emerald Passport.
